Spoiler Alert

NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NOT YET WATCHED THE SERIES FINALE OF "PRISON BREAK," DO NOT KEEP READING (or you could, because it doesn't give THAT much away):

So, last night The Wife and I finally got around to watching the 2 hour series finale of Prison Break (which aired in May). And of course, like every episode of Prison Break, it was beyond ridiculous (like 24 ridiculous but without the good writing and acting).

As the last scene is showing, The Wife starts sobbing because it becomes clear that Scofield is dead and Sara is bringing their son to put flowers on the grave in Panama, along with Mahone, Sucre and Linc. I mean, sobing, not just crying. So what do I do? I start laughing.

Me: Sweetie, are you actually crting?

The Wife: (Nods because she's too overcome with emotion).

Me: But it's Prison Break.

The Wife: But Scofield died.

Me: I know, but I was hoping he would get shot or something and fail in saving Scylla from the General or his mom.

The Wife: But he saved all of them (his friends and wife) and HE died.

At this point, she's sobbing and I'm laughing.

Me: Just so you know, I'm laughing AT you, not WITH you.

Good times.
